Remember this?

Well I can finally reveal what it is.

The blanket is now in the possession of baby Frida Browne (or Newbrowne 2.0 as I like to call her). Frida is half Finnish so I wanted to do the blanket in the colours of the Finnish flag, blue and white. I was kind of hoping that the baby would be a girl so that nobody could accuse me of doing “blue for a boy” and luckily she obliged me ![]()

I wonder will she be so obliging as she hits 24 months?
Twill be interesting to see the state of the blanket by then too.
Hopefully it shall tell the tale of an adventuring young soul(one missed mouthful at a time).
Tis a seriously lovely blanket & I am once again jealous of the way you can whip yarn into submission with a crochet hook.

Gosh it’s beautiful, Marian. What a lovely present to give. I must say, speaking as a Mum, that all gifts to your children are appreciated, but the handmade ones seem to have extra love attached.
