Hi Marian,
Sorry to leave this as a comment but I couldn't find an address to contact you. This is Ruth Crean from the Sunday market in Limerick. I wanted to contact you to let you know I eventually got my website finished, www.nicedaydesigns.com, and as of last week I'm selling online at, www.nicedaydesigns.etsy.com.

If you could post a small blog about that for your readers I would be really appreciative, I just want to drum up some awareness about the site.

It's funny that I came looking for your styletreaty page and I found this post you've written. You should definitely give the Sunday market a shot, the number of real craft people doing stuff is dwindling, so it would be really great to have some more. And from looking at your stuff, you would do well, you have some lovely things. Also I would highly recommend the etsy shop, it's a lot of work to get things listed (I'm still in the process of it) but it's a great community to be part of.
Thanks for your time, and good luck with your to do list.

Maz, my aunt was telling me about a one day jewellery making course she's thinking of arranging, fancy coming along? I'll put you up and we can have fancy dinner and the like. Will let you know what happens with it over the next week or so if you're interested.

and the Etsy idea and stall at the market are a great idea, will definitely be coming down for that one!!

Buy some biasbinding when you get the embroidery hoops. Use it to bind the inner ring of the hoop, working at an angle of about 45° all the way round and finish with a few stitches to secure it.
This means you don't mark the fabric you are working on.
